what’s fixed? Here’s a breakdown of the key points in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Update 1.002.003

Suited Up and Ready to Roll:

We’ve fixed a couple of suit problems! With their favorite Spidey suits, players will now be able to experience the perfect image. The “Amazing 2 Suit” mask and lenses will no longer be wavy, and the classic suit’s webbing will be nice and smooth.

In addition, graphical anomalies have been addressed such as glowing lights around Peter’s mask in the Hellfire Gala suit and a lingering orb on Ironspider armour.

Save the Save Files!

A major concern about the disappearance of saved data is addressed in this update with a critical fix. This issue has been solved, particularly for players affected by the update of v1.002.000. Relax, web-slingers, your progress’s secure!

A Smoother Swing Through New York

The update addresses common crashes and performance problems, thereby improving game stability. As players travel through the open world and face off against the bad guys, they can expect a more pleasant experience.

Bug Squashing Extravaganza!

The developers didn’t stop fixing suits and improving stability just yet. Spider-Man 2 Update 1.002.003 tackles various in-game glitches:

New Game+ Woes:

A bug that prompted players to start a new game instead of continuing their existing New Game+ save file has been fixed.

Time Travel Troubles:

The “Sunset” Time of Day setting no longer causes the sun to inexplicably move across the sky.

Missing Tutorial:

The Charge Jump tutorial prompt will now appear during the “Roll Like We Used To” flashback mission, ensuring players don’t miss this important mechanic.

Dima’s Steak Mishap:

In New Game+, the L1+R1 prompts to pick up Dima’s steak will now function correctly.

Duffle Bag Damage:

A graphical glitch that displayed skin/suit damage on the duffle bag has been resolved.

Open World Enhancements:

In addition, the update will address ecological texture problems and visual inconsistencies in the Open World, making New York look more beautiful than ever.

Accessibility Matters

This update provides welcome improvements to players who rely on the accessibility features:

Accessibility Presets:

Previously, accessibility presets would reset upon death, restart, or reloading a checkpoint. This issue has been fixed, ensuring your preferred settings remain consistent.

Missing Shaders:

High Contrast shaders, essential for some players during the EMF Prospect Park Bee Drone mission, are now present.

Screen Reader Hiccup:

An issue where the screen reader would automatically turn off when selecting a New Game save slot has been addressed.

Summary:

Insomniac Games’ commitment to refining the experience of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is demonstrated by the update 1.003.002.00. This patch brings a number of improvements to the players, from fixing flickers in favorite Spidey suits and making certain features more stable and accessible
