Lucky Baskhar 2 Is Coming — Director Finally Breaks His Silence

Fans of the 2024 heist-drama sensation can breathe easy: Lucky Baskhar 2 is officially in motion. Director Venky Atluri, sharing screen space with Dulquer Salmaan during a promotional chat for I’m Game, dropped the update everyone’s been waiting for — and the exchange was as warm as it was exciting.

What Did Venky Atluri Say?

Atluri told Dulquer, “As you finish all your commitments, I promise you, I’ll come with Lucky Baskhar 2 soon.” Dulquer, clearly amused by his newfound nickname among fans, shot back: “Soon? Wherever I go, people recognise me from the film, and they call me Baskhar.” The director admitted he already feels the pressure of topping the original, while Dulquer confirmed Atluri is the one filmmaker he’d return to for “whether it’s Lucky Baskhar 2 or even a fresh script.”
