If you’ve been waiting to stream Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) from the comfort of your couch, the wait is almost over. This futuristic Tamil romantic comedy had a mixed theatrical run, but its OTT debut is shaping up to be the second wind it truly deserves.
What Is Love Insurance Kompany About?
Directed by popular filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, Love Insurance Kompany is set in a quirky futuristic world where love itself can be insured. Starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, the film blends sci-fi elements with classic rom-com warmth. Despite Pradeep’s impressive box office streak, LIK couldn’t quite ignite the theatrical spark fans hoped for — making its OTT release all the more anticipated.
The film is produced by none other than Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar, with the ever-reliable Anirudh Ravichander delivering the music. Supporting cast includes crowd favourites SJ Suryah and Yogi Babu, guaranteeing plenty of laughs.
