Kushal Tandon Fires Back at Shreya Kalra’s Flirting Claim With a Public Challenge

Reality TV confessions have a way of turning into public disputes fast. After Lock Upp 2 winner Shreya Kalra claimed Kushal Tandon flirted with her while he was still with Shivangi Joshi, Tandon didn’t just deny it quietly — he issued a direct challenge for her to prove it.

What Started the Controversy

Shreya Kalra alleged that Kushal Tandon messaged her after they worked together on Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka, claiming the interaction happened while he was still dating Shivangi Joshi. Kushal has firmly denied the flirting accusation, insisting their entire interaction stayed strictly professional.

Shreya Kalra: Key Points

Kushal’s Side of the Story

Speaking to Zoom, Kushal admitted he initially didn’t recognize Shreya’s name when he first heard about her comments on Lock Upp 2, saying it took him a moment to place who she was. He firmly pushed back on the idea that his breakup with Shivangi Joshi had anything to do with Shreya, calling that specific claim untrue.

According to Kushal, he first met Shreya during a promo shoot for Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka, where she had a brief passing shot with him. He claims the entire exchange stayed casual and centered around that shoot, and that Shreya reached out to him afterward on Instagram to thank him for being kind. He says he only replied encouraging her to pursue bigger opportunities, and denies ever messaging her privately beyond that single exchange.

The Public Challenge

Kushal directly challenged Shreya to release any messages that support her claim, asking her to share proof publicly if such conversations exist. It’s a bold move that puts the burden of evidence squarely on Shreya, turning what started as a reality show soundbite into a public back-and-forth playing out across interviews.
