What Is KPop Demon Hunters?
For anyone who hasn’t yet experienced it — first of all, what are you waiting for? KPop Demon Hunters is Netflix’s two-time Oscar-winning animated feature, released on June 20, 2025, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. The film follows the members of a fictional K-Pop group called HUNTR/X who are secretly demon hunters. In the world of the film, their sold-out concerts aren’t just performances — the collective energy of their fans generates a powerful force called Honmoon that literally holds the demon realm at bay
It’s K-Pop, action, animation, and pure magic blended into one of the most original and visually stunning animated films in years. The film has continued to rack up viewing milestones well into 2026, with a sequel confirmed (though likely not arriving before 2029) and bonus content drops keeping fans engaged in the interim.

What Will the Concert Experience Look Like?
Netflix and AEG Presents are keeping the production details tightly under wraps for now — no word yet on whether the show will feature live performers, holograms, immersive screen environments, or a hybrid of all three. What Netflix has confirmed is that the arena tour will bring the film’s iconic musical sequences and “Honmoon magic” to life in spectacular, large-scale form.
Given the film’s DNA — breathtaking choreography, explosive concert sequences, and an entire mythology built around the power of a live crowd — the potential for this to be something truly unforgettable is enormous. This isn’t just merchandise and a tour bus. Netflix is clearly going all out.
The concept of taking an animated property’s fictional concerts into the real world is a genuinely fresh frontier in live music and entertainment — think along the lines of what Gorillaz and other virtual acts have done, but with the full weight of Netflix’s resources and AEG’s global touring infrastructure behind it.
How Do I Get Tickets?
Right now, no specific dates or cities have been confirmed — those details are expected to be announced later in 2026. However, Netflix has opened an official waitlist on the Tudum site, letting fans sign up to be first in line when the routing drops. If you’re even slightly tempted, signing up now is a no-brainer.
