Kartikeya10 Titled “Come Back”: RX100 Actor Turns Director With Boxing-Drama Glimpse

Birthdays usually mean cake and celebrations, but Kartikeya Gummakonda chose to mark his 34th with something far bigger — the announcement of his directorial debut. The RX100 and Valimai star has officially unveiled his 10th film, and this time, he’s not just in front of the camera.

Kartikeya10 Big Announcement: Come Back

On September 21, 2026, Kartikeya dropped the title glimpse for his 10th film, officially titled “Come Back.” The teaser shows him in a boxing avatar, playing a man returning to the ring after three years away from the sport — a fitting metaphor, given this is also Kartikeya’s own comeback to the big screen after a two-year gap.

The announcement was made under his own production banner, Kartikeya Creative Works, and marks a major career pivot: this is his debut as both director and writer.

Kartikeya10: Overview

A True Family Affair

What makes this project even more personal is that Kartikeya’s wife, Lohitha Reddy, is producing the film — making Come Back a genuine husband-wife collaboration. The shoot is currently underway, with the film expected to release sometime in 2027.

Why This Comeback Matters?

Kartikeya first won hearts with the surprise blockbuster RX100 in 2018 and went on to earn recognition for his role in the Tamil hit Valimai alongside Ajith Kumar. He was last seen on screen in Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, directed by Prashanth Reddy. Stepping behind the camera now, with a story about resilience and second chances, feels like a natural extension of his own journey back to the spotlight.
