Kabaddi Champions League Overview

District by Zomato Enables Seamless Match Discovery and Booking

The District by Zomato partnership allows fans to discover KCL fixtures, choose preferred matches, and book tickets “from excitement to entry in just a few simple clicks.” The platform’s existing user base and trusted infrastructure remove ticketing friction for passionate kabaddi followers who never miss a game and families attending their first live match.

For kabaddi fans, the exclusive District arrangement means no multiple-platform confusion or third-party reseller markups. The “fan-first” approach prioritizes accessibility over complex booking systems, reflecting KCL’s commitment to delivering modern matchday experiences while honoring kabaddi’s grassroots spirit.

Haryana’s Kabaddi Heritage Meets Professional League Format

Kabaddi thrives on crowd energy—cheers after super raids, roars following crucial tackles, and shared pride watching local heroes compete. The KCL brings together Haryana’s top teams featuring established stars and emerging talent in a high-energy professional setup that elevates regional kabaddi beyond traditional tournaments.

Haryana has historically dominated Indian kabaddi, producing national team stalwarts and Pro Kabaddi League stars. The state’s cultural connection to the sport makes the KCL a natural evolution—professionalizing local talent pipelines and creating year-round competitive infrastructure beyond seasonal events.

AccredMaster Manages Media and Official Accreditation

Beyond fan ticketing, AccredMaster will handle accreditation for media, officials, and stakeholders, ensuring “streamlined, organized, and transparent” credentialing throughout the season. This professional approach signals KCL’s ambitions to operate at standards matching Pro Kabaddi League, creating broadcast-ready events with proper media access.

The January 25 launch timing capitalizes on post-festival sports appetite, with kabaddi’s fast-paced action and accessible rules attracting diverse demographics. District by Zomato’s integration with Zomato’s broader ecosystem could enable food ordering during matches if venues support it, enhancing the overall fan experience.

The exclusive ticketing partnership positions District as a sports discovery platform beyond entertainment events, expanding Zomato’s going-out vertical into regional sports leagues. For KCL, the association with a consumer brand boasting millions of active users provides distribution reach traditional sports ticketing platforms cannot match.

The inaugural season sets the foundation for Haryana’s kabaddi ecosystem development, creating professional pathways for village-level talent to reach elite competition without leaving the state—an important retention mechanism as talent historically migrated to Pro Kabaddi teams based in other regions.
