More About the Jio Bharat J1 4G

The Jio Bharat J1 4G features a 2.8-inch display and comes with several features like HD calling, UPI payments via the embedded app – powered by JioMoney – and access to OTT services including that of Reliance’s own platform – Jio Cinema among others. Behind it is a removable 2,500mAh battery that allows for longer use on one charge. The phone bundles in a 3.5mm earphone jack, and a 0.3MP camera and comes with features such as a torch, FM radio, and expandable storage up to 128GB.

It is worth noting that the Jio Bharat J1 Jio SIM-locked phone means users need a Jio SIM to use this phone. A single SIM is supported by the smartphone and it comes with capabilities to reach out to diverse users and has 23 Indian languages support. The phone, as we mentioned earlier also supports 4G VoLTE, allowing users to make HD voice calls over Jio’s vast 4G network. It also comes pre-installed with Jio apps for UPI payments and there is a way to manage your call/text activity than just that.

Priced at ₹1,799 on Amazon India, the Jio Bharat J1 offers a cost-effective option for those seeking a feature phone with modern capabilities, positioning it above the Jio Bharat B2 in both features and pricing. Meanwhile, the JioPhone Prima, priced at ₹2,599, remains Jio’s premium feature phone. With its affordable price, essential features, and support for Jio’s 4G network, the Jio Bharat J1 4G presents a solid choice for Jio users.
