Five feels like it arrived in the blink of an eye. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s younger son Jehangir Ali Khan — lovingly called Jeh Baba — rang in his fifth birthday in the most wholesome way imaginable: planting trees at the family’s ancestral home and then unleashing pure chaos at a Naruto-themed birthday bash surrounded by cousins, aunts, and a three-tiered chocolate cake. Trees, Ninjas & a Very Unbothered Bebo

Kareena kicked off the celebrations with a heartwarming gesture — she had the family plant trees to mark Jeh’s birthday, sharing the sweet moment on her Instagram with the caption: “Birthdays are all about planting trees and being free. Happy birthday Son. Jeh Baba.” It’s exactly the kind of grounded, meaningful parenting that feels refreshing from a Bollywood family.

Then came the party — and Jeh went full ninja mode. The Naruto theme was a massive hit with the birthday boy, who reportedly paid more attention to his Japanese ninja figurines than the stunning three-tiered chocolate cake in front of him. Priorities, respect.

The celebrations were shared through Instagram posts by Soha Ali Khan, who perfectly captured the lovable mayhem of a five-year-old’s birthday party. She wrote that the cake was visible in the pictures, but the birthday boy? Not quite — though he could definitely be heard. And through it all, she marvelled at Kareena — who apparently looked completely calm and composed throughout the chaos. How, indeed.

Saba Pataudi also flooded her stories with pictures, calling Jeh her “warrior prince” and expressing how quickly he had grown from a little ball of energy into something far more amplified. The whole Pataudi clan — Karisma Kapoor, Soha, Saba, and Neha Dhupia — came together to make the birthday extra special.

A Peek Into Jeh’s World

Naruto, for the uninitiated, is one of the most beloved anime and manga franchises globally — a story about a young ninja’s journey to earn recognition and protect his village. Learn more about the franchise on Wikipedia’s Naruto page. It’s no surprise that the energetic, spirited Jeh has taken to its ninja world so enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, Kareena is busy filming Daayra with director Meghna Gulzar, while Saif gears up for Haiwaan opposite Akshay Kumar, directed by Priyadarshan.
