Jasprit Bumrah will miss the 4th Test against England as he is getting married this weekend

Indian first bowler Jasprit Bumrah is getting married this weekend. For this reason, he will be unavailable in the last and final Test match against England, which is going to start from tomorrow. Bumrah will also be unavailable for the T20 and ODI series against England.

A few days back, Jasprit Bumrah was released from the squad ahead of the 4th Test against England due to some personal reasons. Finally, it has come to light that the Indian pacer is going to start a new journey in his life this weekend. A source close to Bumrah revealed, “Yes, Bumrah is getting married this weekend, and that is the reason he decided to pull out of 4th Test against England.”

As per BCCI, Bumrah has asked the Team Management to release him. BCCI revealed, “He informed the BCCI that he is getting married and has taken the leave to help preparations for the big day.”

Bumrah was given rest in the second Test. But he came back again in the 3rd Test. Bumrah bowled only 6 overs in the Motera Test and failed to earn any wicket. But India won the Test quite comfortably in just 2 days. The last Test is the Series decider and is also a vital game for India to cement their place in ICC World Test Championship to face New Zealand at Lords. India will have to avoid defeat to qualify for the finals.
