iQOO Z9 Series Renders Unveiled on Weibo, Hinting at Dual-Rear Cameras with OIS

In August, iQOO launched the iQOO Z8 series in the Chinese market, featuring the iQOO Z8 5G and the iQOO Z8x 5G models. Presently, it seems that iQOO is actively developing the next installment in the Z-series, known as the iQOO Z9 series. In the most recent update, design renders of the upcoming iQOO Z9 series smartphones have emerged on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, courtesy of the user Fixed Focus Digital. The user shared renders of two presumed iQOO Z9 series smartphones. Let’s delve into the details.

The Rumored iQOO Z9 Series

The renders for the iQOO Z9 series unveil a dual-rear camera setup. Accompanying the dual cameras, the leaked renders also display the ‘OIS ASPHERICAL’ text. One of these handsets features two circular camera modules, while the other incorporates two squircle camera modules.

There is a possibility that the iQOO Z9 series devices will boast a rear panel with a gradient design, transitioning from a light pink hue to aqua blue. The rear panel of the device showcases a vertical strip design. However, aside from these aspects, the leaked renders do not provide further insights into the upcoming Z-series smartphones.

The iQOO Z9 series is set to succeed the iQOO Z8 series, which made its debut in August. The iQOO Z8 series boasts a 120Hz LCD display, with the iQOO Z8 powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor and the iQOO Z8x equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

Noteworthy features of the iQOO Z8 include a 5000mAh battery unit with 120W fast charging support, while the iQOO Z8x is fueled by a 6000mAh battery unit supporting 44W fast charging. The iQOO Z8 features a 64MP OIS camera, and the iQOO Z8x comes with a 50MP primary camera. Refer to the iQOO Z8 specifications for more details.
