iQOO 13 Set to Launch in India Soon with Snapdragon 8 Lite

As the year 2024 comes close to wrapping up, you can sense that some of the most popular smartphone brands are getting ready for a new launch across their flagship crowd. We are about to enter the part of the year where we see new devices from Vivo and iQOO. Vivo has already introduced the Vivo X200 series in China and it is expected to come to India sometime later this year. On the other side, iQOO 13 is expected to make its debut in China by the end of October as well before heading to india.

The Upcoming iQOO 13

Although Vivo iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya teased the arrival of their upcoming gaming phone, which is largely believed to be named the iQOO 13 on Twitter (now X), he did not confirm a specific launch date. Recent reports suggest the iQOO 13 could launch in India on December 3, which would align with the early December release of the iQOO 12 last year. While this date is not officially confirmed, it appears likely given the company’s teasers.

The design of the iQOO 13 has been revealed and closely resembles the iQOO 12, with some minor design updates. While the phone sports a square camera module at the back with three shooters, in this new variant we see an LED strip surrounding it which could be used for notifications when calls or messages. As an added bonus, the LED flash has made a return to inside the camera module and other than that there is nothing in this design that we have not seen before. The iQOO 13 will be offered in four colors: green, silver, brown, and white, these are probably the same variants that we should see launching soon on our shores too.

iQOO has confirmed that its next flagship will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The phone will feature a 6.82-inch 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is expected to run on Android 15. It will pack a 6,125mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, and the charger will be included in the box.

The iQOO 13 will have dual speakers, a 1016H motor for enhanced haptics, a heat dissipation system with multi-layer graphene, and a 7K ultra-large VC heat spreader. Leaks suggest the phone will have a triple rear camera setup, featuring three 50-megapixel sensors for the primary, ultra-wide, and 2x telephoto lenses. For selfies, it may come with a 32-megapixel front camera.
