In India, the iQOO 12 is the first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, according to the firm.

A Weibo post states that on November 7 (Tuesday), at 4:30 p.m. IST, a launch event for the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will take place in China. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is known to be included in the iQOO 12 series. This week at the Snapdragon Summit, this high-end smartphone chipset was unveiled. Android 14 is anticipated to be the operating system for the future in 12 series.

A triple camera combination featuring a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor with a 3x zoom and OIS capability is anticipated for this series.
A sizable 4,880mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging will power this iQOO model. However, the Pro model will include a large 4,980mAh battery that can be charged at 120W via wired fast charging and 50W via wireless charging. It is also anticipated that this smartphone will also include up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
