From Jammu Runways to IPL Stadiums — Meet Samreen Kaur, the Actress Who Has Completely Bowled Over Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep Singh has been making headlines this IPL season — and not just for his searing left-arm pace. The Punjab Kings pacer turned heads in a very different way when he was recently spotted arriving hand-in-hand with a stunning woman at the airport, sparking a nationwide curiosity wave. So who exactly is she? Meet Samreen Kaur — actress, model, beauty queen, and apparently the person who has clean bowled India’s premier death-over specialist.

Who Is Samreen Kaur?

From Beauty Pageants to Bollywood — Samreen’s Journey

Samreen Kaur’s story is genuinely inspiring. Born in Jammu and Kashmir, she started her career by walking the ramp, starring in television advertisements, and participating in beauty pageants. Back in 2018, she was selected to represent Jammu and Kashmir at a coveted Miss India beauty pageant. Soon after, she kicked off her journey in the entertainment industry.

She didn’t just dip a toe into films — she went right for the big screen. The highlight of her career is when she played the role of Simran, the fiancée of Ammy Virk’s character in the Ranveer Singh-led movie 83. She also shared the screen with Diljit Dosanjh, Monica Gill, and Sonam Bajwa in the Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 2, and has featured in multiple music videos with popular artists like Badshah and Guru Randhawa.

With 4.5 million Instagram followers and a growing filmography, Samreen is very much a star in her own right — not just a cricketer’s girlfriend.

How Public Is Their Relationship?

Very. When the team of Punjab Kings arrived in Delhi, Arshdeep was spotted with Samreen, exiting the airport hand-in-hand and moving towards their team bus. That single moment set social media on fire.

She dropped multiple images from Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium during the Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians match on her Instagram handle. Kaur was also papped outside the gate, waiting for her favorite player, and the couple was spotted together at Chandigarh airport and while visiting a Gurudwara together.

She regularly travels with Arshdeep to IPL cities — which for a pacer of his calibre means quite a few flights this season.

Arshdeep himself is one of India’s most exciting young cricketers. For background on his rise through the ranks, his Wikipedia profile traces his journey from domestic cricket to becoming a T20 World Cup winner with India.
