Initial rumors hinted at the device adopting the design cues from the iPhone 14, but recent speculation suggests that Apple may completely eliminate the notch from the upcoming iPhone SE’s display in favor of the Dynamic Island feature.

The new handset is expected to feature a camera of the dual camera setup found in the iPhone 16 models. Additionally, rumors suggest that the fourth generation iPhone SE will incorporate Dynamic Island on its display, where Face ID and selfie camera will be located. To support these claims the tipster even provided a sketch. Initially, there were speculations about whether this device would adopt an iPhone 14 design.

Furthermore, it has been mentioned by the tipster that the dimensions of the iPhone SE 4 might be similar to those of the iPhone XR. However, it’s important to exercise caution when considering these rumors since it is still too early to determine their accuracy. Apple introduced Dynamic Island functionality with its release of the iPhone 14 Pro models in 2022. This unique pill-shaped cutout at the top of the screen allows for access to features, like Apple Pay transactions, incoming calls, and music controls.

In the years Apple continued to include this feature, in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max while also bringing it to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Earlier reports indicated that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 would have a 6.1-inch OLED screen and Apple’s own 5G modem chip. It is expected to incorporate a USB Type-C port for charging.

The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to make its debut in 2025 at the earliest. The latest iteration of the iPhone SE (2022) was launched in March 2022, with a starting price tag of ₹43,900 for the base 64GB storage variant.
