If you did not already know, Apple will be integrating the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will come with the Always On Display. As per Mark Gurman’s most recent newsletter, it arrives with new UI features that come with iOS 16 and as per a report, the Always-On Display feature showcases brand new screen widgets and more.

These widgets include features such as weather updates, fitness, and other options that users will be able to customize. Mark Gurman states that “Like the Apple Watch, the iPhone 14 Pro will be able to show widgets displaying weather, calendars, stocks, activities, and other data while the screen remains at a low brightness and frame rate. There will be a setting also like the Apple Watch that keeps sensitive data from appearing on the lock screen for all to see.”

The iPhone 14 Pro’s Always On Display functions similarly to any other AOD on other smartphones which means it will show the user basic information such as time, date, notifications, and more.
