Infinix is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in 2024, teasing its flagship gaming phone, the Infinix GT Ultra at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. The company shared details, about the phone’s chipset, display, and hardware and introduced some exciting new technological ideas that will be part of the gaming phone. One of these concepts is the Color Shift technology.

More About the Infinix E-Color Shift and CoolMax

The Infinix GT Ultra will run on a dual-core setup featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC paired with a graphics chip. The company proudly announced that the phone achieved a score of 22,15,639 on the AnTuTu benchmark. Moreover, through its partnership with Pixelworks, the company ensures that the handset scheduled for release in 2024 will come equipped with a WQHD+ resolution 144Hz display.

Apart from focusing on the chipset and display aspects Infinix has also revealed its CoolMax cooling technology anticipated to be incorporated into the Infinix GT Ultra. This cooling system includes an air-cooling fan and an electric cooler designed to lower the device’s temperature by less than 10 degrees Celsius. By maintaining a temperature level CoolMax aims to improve chipset performance.

Additionally, Infinix introduced AirCharge technology utilizing coil magnetic resonance tech for efficient wireless charging. This cutting-edge feature allows charging within a range of 0 cm to 20 cm without contact providing flexibility in how users arrange their charging setups. The company claims that by using AirCharge the charging pad can be placed under a desk and still charge the device effectively.

The company also revealed the Extreme Temp battery, which is made to enable charging in temperatures of, up to 40 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, they introduced the Infinix E Color Shift technology, which is promoted as the custom skin technology, in the industry. Leveraging E Ink Prism 3 technology, E-Color Shift enables users to customize the back panel of handsets, offering up to 60 customizable areas for personalized aesthetics.
