Infinix GT 50 Pro India Launch on October 27: 6 Confirmed Features

Gamers looking for a loud, flashy phone have a date to mark. Infinix has confirmed that the Infinix GT 50 Pro will launch in India on October 27, and it will be sold on Flipkart. The company has already teased a racing-inspired design and some unusual gaming hardware, including what it calls India’s first smartphone with a liquid-cooling system.

Infinix GT 50 Pro: What Is Confirmed

Design: Built Like a Racing Car

Infinix says the design is inspired by a racing-car concept. The back panel has aerodynamic lines, a tapered waistline and a streamlined curve based on wind-tunnel design. It uses a Kevlar-style textured finish on a 2D composite panel, which the company says balances durability with a light feel. The phone has built-in LED lights and comes in Black Abyss and Red Blaze.

HydroFlow Liquid Cooling

The headline feature is HydroFlow Liquid Cooling, a micro-pump liquid-cooling network designed to improve heat dissipation during long gaming sessions. A rear viewport, which Infinix calls the Explicit Viewport Design, lets you see the cooling channels. As reported, this is the first smartphone in India with such a system.

Lights and Triggers

Four RGB light strips, called Mechanical Lighting Waves, sit in the GT crosshair pattern and react to calls, gaming and music. Infinix lists 14 effects and eight customizable colors. For controls, GT Trigger 2.0 offers dual pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons that can be mapped to in-game actions or to functions such as camera zoom and app launching.

Specifications: Not Confirmed for India

Infinix has not confirmed India specifications. The report presumes they match the global variant, which launched earlier in Indonesia. That version has a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultimate chipset, a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired and 30W wireless charging, and Android 16-based XOS 16 with a promise of five OS upgrades. Camera details, such as a 50MP and 8MP rear setup and a 13MP front camera, are speculation.

What Is Not Confirmed

The price, RAM and storage options and the final India specs are not announced. The phone is expected to sit in the mid-range and compete with series such as the POCO X8, and it looks aimed at gamers more than camera fans. Read about the brand on Wikipedia, and find more in our Infinix coverage.

Who Is the Infinix GT 50 Pro For?

This phone is aimed at young gamers who want flashy looks and strong cooling at a sensible price. The liquid cooling, rear viewport and RGB light strips are clearly designed to stand out from rivals such as the POCO X8 series. Because the price is still hidden, the real test will be whether Infinix keeps its reputation for aggressive pricing. Watch Flipkart for the launch on October 27, and remember that the specs listed from the global variant may differ in India.

Also note that colours named Black Abyss and Red Blaze are the only finishes announced so far, and the brand has not yet confirmed RAM and storage variants or bank offers for the sale.

Check back here after October 27 for the final India specifications and price once Infinix reveals them.
