Infinix Hot 12 Pro announced in India with 90Hz display, Unisoc T616 SoC and more

On Tuesday, Smartphone Brand Infinix announced the launch of its new budget smartphone Infinix Hot 12 Pro in India. It is the second offering from the brand under its Hot 12 series after the Hot 12 Play that debuted earlier in March this year. 

It competes against the likes of the Tecno Spark 9, Redmi 10, Realme C35, and more in the market. The smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch 90Hz display, 5,000mAh battery, 50MP primary sensor and more.

Infinix Hot 12 Pro specifications and features 

Infinix Hot 12 Pro has a  6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also has one of the brightest displays in the category of 480 NITS for a superior visual experience. Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc T616 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM or 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Hot 12 Pro uses LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage type. It has 3GB of virtual RAM support.

Coming to the optics, the Infinix Hot 12 Pro features a dual rear camera setup of a 50MP primary sensor paired with an depth lens and LED flash. Up front, the device has an 8MP selfie snapper.

Operating on the latest Android 12, Hot 12 Pro is powered by Octa-Core UniSoc T616 processor with an ANTUTU score of 262487. Infinix Hot 12 Pro sports a heavy-duty 5000mAh battery with  18W fast-charging Type C cable. One can enjoy 79 hours of music, 41 hours of calling, and 12 hours of gaming and 45 days of standby once the device is fully charged, the company.

The Hot 12 Pro supports other features, such as dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and DTS-HD Surround Sound support. There is a micro-sd card slot for storage expansion. The device has a thickness of 8.42mm and weighs around 191 grams.

The Infinix Hot 12 Pro carries a starting price tag of Rs 10,999 for the base 6GB + 64GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration is priced at Rs 11,999. The smartphone is offered in Lightsaber Green and Electric Blue colours and can be purchased from Flipkart starting August 8th.
