Infinix GT 10 Pro Makes Its Mark with a Thrilling Launch in India

The Infinix GT 10 Pro made its debut in India on Thursday, August 3, as a dedicated gaming phone from the Transsion Group-owned company. The latest handset features a unique back panel with a transparent effect, a mini LED light strip, and reflective hardware underneath. Equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC, the phone boasts 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

To ensure efficient cooling during intense gaming sessions, the Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with a vapor chamber and bypass charging feature. The device sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display is TUV-certified, delivering 900 nits of peak brightness and 100 percent DCIP color gamut coverage.

In terms of pricing, the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at ₹19,999 and is available in Cyber Black and Mirage Silver color options. The phone is now available for purchase on Flipkart. Buyers can avail of an instant discount of ₹2,000 on payments made through ICICI and Kotak bank cards. Flipkart is also offering a six-month no-cost EMI option starting at ₹3,334. Additionally, the first 5,000 customers to buy the phone will receive some extra gaming accessories along with their purchase.

The Infinix GT 10 Pro runs on Android 13 based XOS 13 and is confirmed to receive an upgrade to Android 14 along with two years of security updates. The phone’s impressive display boasts a hole punch cutout at the center and is equipped with a double-axis linear motor for an enhanced gaming experience.

For photography enthusiasts, the Infinix GT 10 Pro boasts a triple rear camera setup, with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel camera sensors. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video chats.

In terms of security, the phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and it also features various sensors like a light sensor, e-compass, G-sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The device also comes with stereo dual speakers powered by DTS audio technology and Hi-Res audio certification.

A powerful 5,000mAh battery fuels the Infinix GT 10 Pro, with support for 45W fast charging. Additionally, the phone features Infinix’s in-house bypass charging mode, which is claimed to reduce overheating during gaming sessions by up to 7 degrees Celsius.
