Why Indian Fans Should Be Excited
The Women’s competition is the real draw this year. Smriti Mandhana joins Manchester Super Giants alongside Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma turns out for SunRisers Leeds, and Jemimah Rodrigues heads to Southern Brave. Add Kiran Navgire, Shweta Sehrawat, Asha Sobhana, and Nandani Sharma across other franchises, and India’s Women in Blue have a serious presence throughout the tournament.
On the Men’s side, global stars like Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Rashid Khan, and Harry Brook headline a stacked lineup, with MI London defending their three-peat under their new identity.
JioStar’s Prashant Khanna called the acquisition part of a broader push to grow The Hundred’s following in one of cricket’s most passionate markets, pairing international stars with India’s own talent pool.
