India beat Macau to qualify for AFC Asian Cup 2019

After U-17 Defeats, Indian Football Team Has Qualified For The AFC Asian Cup

A dominant India defeated Macau 4-1 at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday to qualify for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, to be played in UAE. It was India’s fourth consecutive win in the qualifiers in as many game and they are on top of Group A.
Amidst the successful hosting of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017, where the Indian U-17 team have won hearts of 1.3 billion people with their stupendous performances, the senior team showed class to book their tickets for the continental tournament for the fourth time with two more matches left in the qualifiers.
Sunil Chetri-led India scripted their second qualification to the AFC Asian Cup in last 8 years.
