Not every big name guarantees a big number. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s I, Nobody has struggled to find its footing since release, and eight days in, the film’s worldwide tally makes it clear this one is heading for an early exit from theatres.

I, Nobody- Numbers So Far

The film opened at a modest Rs. 2.25 crore and never really found the surge distributors were hoping for. By the end of its extended four-day opening weekend, it had added up to just Rs. 5.70 crore, and the weekday drop-off was steep from there.

Region	Collection
Kerala	Rs. 7.00 crore
Rest of India	Rs. 2.45 crore
India Total	Rs. 9.45 crore
Overseas	Rs. 5.05 crore (~USD 525K)
Worldwide	Rs. 14.50 crore

Why The Film Is Struggling

Even in its home turf of Kerala, where Prithviraj’s films usually draw strong opening interest, I, Nobody has managed only Rs. 7 crore across eight days — a slow trickle rather than a flood. Overseas numbers followed the same pattern, adding just over Rs. 5 crore. Trade trackers now expect the film to wrap its theatrical run around Rs. 16-18 crore gross worldwide, a modest outcome for a film mounted on a reasonably sizable budget.

Directed by Nissam Basheer and also starring Parvathy Thiruvothu, the film hasn’t managed to convert its starry pairing into ticket sales, a reminder that even a proven box office draw like Prithviraj, who is among the highest-paid Malayalam actors with more than 100 films to his credit, isn’t immune to a soft opening.
