If this drama isn’t making you wish someone looked at you the way Matthew Lee looks at Dam Ye Jin — you haven’t been watching closely enough.
What Is Sold Out On You?
Sold Out On You is a romantic comedy airing on SBS about the unexpected love story between Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop), a perfectionist farmer juggling multiple jobs, and Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), a top home shopping show host who suffers from severe insomnia.
The charm of this drama lies in its unlikely pairing — a farm boy and a TV star — brought together by the most relatable of struggles: not being able to sleep.
What Happens in the New Episode?
New stills show Dam Ye Jin experiencing sleepwalking again — wandering outside at night in light clothes — as Matthew Lee rushes to stop her. In another image, she has fainted with a bowl of side dishes scattered around her, hinting that her condition is getting worse.
Sleepwalking, medically known as somnambulism, can escalate into a genuinely dangerous condition — which makes Matthew Lee’s round-the-clock vigilance feel less like a K-drama trope and more like a real act of care.
How Matthew Lee Steps Up?
Matthew Lee had already been quietly keeping watch over Dam Ye Jin, even striking a deal when signing a raw material supply contract with L’Étoile — requesting that Dam Ye Jin limit herself to just one sleeping pill a day to protect her health. Now, he and the island villagers rally together so she can sleep well, eat well, and rest well.
| Matthew’s Care | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Secretly watching over her at night | Quiet, protective devotion |
| Negotiating her health into a business deal | Goes beyond ordinary concern |
| Rallying villagers to help | Community warmth meets romance |
| Managing her daily routine personally | Deepening emotional closeness |
The Romance is Building
Matthew Lee’s attentiveness to Dam Ye Jin’s daily routine is set to bring the two even closer, delivering heart-fluttering moments for viewers in the upcoming episode. This is the slow-burn romance K-drama fans live for.
