BroadcastNow first reported, and Netflix confirmed, that the eight-part series won’t return. It follows three close friends on a darkly funny hunt for the truth behind an old friend’s suspicious death. The show landed on Netflix on February 12, 2026, and critics and audiences largely loved it. Its road to the screen was bumpy, too: Channel 4 originally greenlit it in 2023, and it moved to Netflix in 2024.

Yes. Last month, Netflix announced a new project from McGee, and it may have been a hint of things to come. Titled Jig, it’s a mockumentary set in the eccentric world of Irish dancing. She’s reuniting with her Derry Girls collaborators Liz Lewin and Caroline Leddy, and Orchid Pictures’ Suzanne Mackie is producing. Cameras aren’t expected to roll until 2027, so patience is required.
