Is Marsha Safe? Here’s What Really Happened

Marsha starts the episode on the run in the woods, hiding from assassins with a busted ankle and nothing but her wits — and her phone. She’s desperately searching for a signal while armed hunters and dogs close in.

She eventually climbs to higher ground, gets a signal, and calls her boyfriend Daniel — informing him that Nick is dead and she’s in serious danger. Daniel briefs her about how the perpetrators have been using her as a pawn to control Sam into carrying out the hijacking.

Armed with that knowledge, Marsha uses her last call to try and reach Sam, but Olivia answers instead. Marsha quickly records a message urging Sam not to let himself be manipulated because of her — and Olivia immediately heads to the control center to play the message for Winter.

It’s the evidence that changes everything. Marsha herself is safe by episode’s end — a police helicopter has been dispatched — but her fate isn’t fully confirmed, keeping viewers anxious going into the finale.

Jess Dies — And It’s Gut-Wrenching

As GSG9 troops make their way through the carriages, Jess essentially commits suicide by cop — holding up her radio as if it’s a detonator, forcing them to shoot her dead. TheWrap It’s a deeply conflicted moment. She did terrible things, but her sacrifice in Sam’s final moments lands with genuine emotional weight.

Stuart Is the Puppet Master

Before Stuart can be returned to his cell at HMP Belmarsh, a corrupt prison guard secretly plants a burner phone inside a soap bar — giving Stuart a direct line to his contacts on the outside. PRIMETIMER This strongly implies the Season 1 hijacker is orchestrating everything — and the Season 2 finale will need to deliver answers.
