Some teasers reveal everything. This one reveals almost nothing — and that’s precisely what makes it work. The first look at Haiwaan, starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, is finally out, and it leans entirely on mood over plot. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film teases a battle between a hero and a beast, without giving away who’s actually who.
What The Teaser Shows
Saif Ali Khan plays a blind man who moves through his world with a walking stick, and his character instantly becomes the emotional core of the mystery — his backstory, and his link to Akshay’s character, are left deliberately vague.
Akshay, on the other hand, is shown watching Saif’s character from a distance, his intentions unreadable. He even fueled the intrigue online, captioning his post with a chilling line about hearing danger versus being the danger, and posing the film’s central question: Hero ya Haiwaan?
