Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone — The Big One

The HBO Original Series debuts on Christmas Day after its record-breaking first teaser in March, with new footage showing the titular boy wizard hitting the Quidditch field for the first time. The cast includes John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall, Nick Frost as Hagrid, Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. A Christmas Day premiere feels almost too perfect.
