Hanuman Ansh Box Office: Overview

The Latest Numbers

On its 9th Monday, the film collected an estimated Rs 75 lakh. Pinkvilla notes that this is about a 70 per cent drop from the 9th Friday. The 9th week has so far added Rs 8.25 crore in four days, taking the total to Rs 309.50 crore nett in India.

The film is expected to close this week with a modest figure, around Rs 11 to 12 crore, per Pinkvilla’s estimate.

How the Run Unfolded?

The journey was far from a typical blockbuster pattern. The film started quietly, with Rs 0.90 crore in week one and Rs 0.50 crore in week two. Then word of mouth took over. Week three jumped to Rs 10.35 crore, week four hit Rs 58.25 crore, and week five peaked at Rs 84.75 crore. Weeks six, seven and eight added Rs 76.75 crore, Rs 42.75 crore and Rs 27 crore.

That slow-burn rise is rare, and it’s why the film is being called historic.

Will It Reach Rs 350 Crore?

Earlier trends pointed toward a Rs 350 crore finish. That now looks like a stretch after the Monday dip. Still, the film has held on despite Drishyam: The Conclusion arriving, and it may keep earning for another couple of weeks.

Hanuman Ansh draws on the beloved Hanuman figure from Hindu tradition, which helps explain its family appeal. Want more tracking? Check our latest box office and entertainment updates.
