Guardian: The Lonely and Great God 10th Anniversary: A Decade of “Goblin”: Cast’s Emotional 10th Anniversary Trip

Ten years later, and the magic clearly hasn’t faded. The final episode of “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God 10th Anniversary” aired on July 12, closing out a nostalgic journey that reunited the beloved cast of one of K-drama’s biggest global hits — known to most fans simply as “Goblin.”

For this special, Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na returned to Gangneung, retracing iconic filming locations, swapping behind-the-scenes stories, and reflecting on just how far the drama’s legacy has traveled since it first aired.

The farewells hit hard for longtime fans. Yoo In Na reflected that every moment of the trip felt genuinely radiant, while Lee Dong Wook expressed gratitude that so many people still hold the drama close to their hearts. Kim Go Eun echoed similar sentiments about the show’s staying power, and Gong Yoo offered a particularly fitting note — thanking fans who still think of “Goblin” every time winter arrives, a nod to the drama’s iconic wintry visuals.

The finale didn’t stop there. Supporting cast members Kim Sung Kyum, Yeom Hye Ran, Yook Sung Jae, Yoon Kyung Ho, Jung Hae In, and Jo Woo Jin all sent in messages to mark the milestone, rounding out a genuinely full-circle celebration.
