The Story Behind the Fandom

My Bias, My Boss follows Nam Da Reum, a devoted fan of idol Lee Chan for 12 years, who joins Apello — the entertainment company co-founded by Lee Chan and CEO Kang Ha Gi — hoping to get closer to her idol by working alongside him. What she doesn’t expect is finding herself caught in a romantic tug-of-war between the idol she’s admired for over a decade and the company’s CEO.

Introducing D.N.X

At the center of the fictional world is D.N.X, short for “Destiny Never X,” a five-member idol group who shot to fame shortly after debuting. The lineup includes visual member Lee Chan, youngest member Roy, leader Hyuk played by CIX’s Hyunsuk, main vocalist Tae Oh played by EPEX’s Baekseung, and rapper Jinu. The group is written to have debuted back in 2015, building a reputation for strong vocals and polished performances before quietly going on an unexplained hiatus, with Lee Chan remembered as its most popular member.

The New Concept Photos

The newly released images lean fully into authentic idol-group visual language, showcasing each member’s distinct charm and recreating the kind of glossy, era-defining concept photography that made D.N.X’s in-universe fame believable in the first place.
