What’s the Story?
Roslin: Secret Stories centres on Roslin (Rose), a young girl psychologically haunted by recurring visions of a mysterious man with vivid green eyes. Her parents dismiss it as overactive imagination fuelled by too many books, recommending counselling. But Roslin keeps seeing him — in her dreams, and soon, terrifyingly, in real life.
When a stranger with those exact same green eyes arrives as a house guest, the line between paranoia and reality begins to blur. What truths does he carry? And can Roslin escape the haunting before it consumes her entirely? It’s the kind of slow-burn mystery that keeps you watching well past midnight.
The Creative Team Is Hard to Ignore
The name Jeethu Joseph alone should make any Malayalam cinema fan sit up and take notice. The Drishyam franchise director serves as showrunner here, lending the series his signature tight, suspense-driven sensibility. As Wikipedia’s entry on Malayalam cinema notes, the industry has a long-standing tradition of producing some of India’s finest psychological thrillers — and Roslin appears set to continue that legacy.
Director Sumesh Nandakumar is no stranger to Jeethu Joseph’s world either, having previously worked as an associate on 12th Man and Drishyam 2. The story and screenplay come from lyricist-turned-writer Vinayak Sasikumar, adding a literary layer to the narrative.
Veteran actors Vineeth and Meena bring their considerable dramatic weight to the supporting cast, while Sanjana Dipu (Moothon) leads the show in the titular role.
