Why Season 3 Is Different

Season 3 was originally greenlit as a full six-episode season in December 2023. That changed dramatically in October 2024 when creator Neil Gaiman exited production following sexual assault allegations. As a result, the season was reduced to a single 90-minute finale. Gaiman contributed to the script but stepped back from all production duties. AnimeNextSeason
