Idol life rarely comes with a glimpse into the everyday, unglamorous side of things — which is exactly why this new preview is generating buzz. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri is set to welcome cameras into her actual home for MBC’s popular reality show I Live Alone, and the sneak peek is already charming fans.

What The Preview Shows

In the newly released clip, Yuri reveals that Jeju Island marks the very first place she’s ever lived on her own, and she’s now in her third year there. She calls the space “a space of my own” while giving viewers a look inside — before getting refreshingly honest about the less glamorous parts of island life, including her ongoing battles with moisture and bugs.

Why Jeju Island Makes This Extra Interesting

Yuri’s choice of home adds its own charm to the episode. Jeju Island, South Korea’s largest island and a popular volcanic getaway known for its natural landscapes, is a distinctly different lifestyle choice compared to the usual Seoul-based homes featured on the show — making her episode a refreshing change of scenery for longtime viewers.

Beyond her reality TV appearance, Yuri is also currently starring in the drama Parole Examiner Lee, keeping her busy across both scripted and unscripted content this year.
