D’oh! How to Get Tighty Whities Homer Skin in Fortnite (And Yes, He Has Nipples!)

Homer Simpson just crashed into Fortnite wearing nothing but his iconic white briefs, and the internet can’t stop talking about it. The Tighty Whities Homer skin marks a historic first for Fortnite—the game’s first shirtless male character sporting visible nipples! Available until December 2, 2025, this massive version of Springfield’s favorite dad is ready to devour donuts and dominate Battle Royale. Here’s everything you need to grab him before he’s gone.

Tighty Fortnite Whities Homer Quick Guide

How to Purchase Tighty Whities Homer

Head to the Fortnite Item Shop and navigate to “The Simpsons” tab. You have two purchasing options:

Solo Purchase: Buy just the Tighty Whities Homer outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks. This includes the skin, built-in emote features, and LEGO Style variant for use across all Fortnite experiences.

Complete Bundle: Grab the Tighty Whities Homer Bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks—saving you 500 V-Bucks compared to individual purchases. The bundle includes the outfit, Stretch ‘N Scratch emote with built-in features, Homer’s Toolbox back bling, and the Wonder Bat pickaxe.

The bundle represents better value if you want the complete Homer experience with themed accessories. However, budget players can still enjoy the skin’s full functionality with the solo purchase.

Why This Skin Breaks Fortnite History

Since 2019’s Travis Scott concert featuring a gigantic shirtless avatar, Fortnite has avoided adding nipples to any shirtless male characters despite numerous collaborations. The artistic choice made sense—Fortnite’s cartoonish style didn’t really call for that level of anatomical detail.

But Homer Simpson’s introduction changes everything. As an already exaggerated cartoon character from The Simpsons, his design naturally includes these details. This version depicts Homer after consuming a Zero Point Shard, transforming him into the giant underwear-clad character who will feature prominently in the End-of-Chapter Live Event on November 29.

The community has embraced this historic oddity with humor and enthusiasm, celebrating Fortnite’s willingness to stay true to source material even when it breaks long-standing design conventions.

The Role in Simpsons Finale Event

Tighty Whities Homer isn’t just a cosmetic—he’s central to the Simpsons Mini-Season finale. This massive character appears devouring a pink-frosted donut while Springfield residents watch in horror, setting up the climactic battle scheduled for November 29.

Players who purchase the skin can embody this apocalyptic version of Homer while participating in the live event, creating a meta experience where you’re both fighting alongside and potentially against giant Homer.

Free players can still claim the Giant Homer loading screen by simply logging in before November 29—a consolation prize showing this momentous character even if you don’t purchase the skin.

LEGO Compatibility and Cross-Mode Usage

Like all Simpsons collaboration skins, Tighty Whities Homer includes full LEGO Style compatibility. Transform into a blocky minifigure version when playing LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, building structures and exploring realms while sporting those legendary briefs.

The skin works across Battle Royale, Zero Build, Creative modes, and Fortnite Festival, ensuring maximum value regardless of your preferred gameplay style. For tips on maximizing cosmetic usage across different modes, check out our Fortnite cross-mode guides.

Will He Return After December 2nd?

Yes! Tighty Whities Homer isn’t an exclusive skin, meaning he’ll return to the Item Shop in future rotations. However, waiting means uncertain timelines—collaborations sometimes don’t reappear for months.

Given his role in the End-of-Chapter event, owning him now lets you participate fully in the Simpsons finale with the appropriate skin equipped. Plus, bragging rights as an early adopter never hurt.
