Get the new OnePlus 10R 5G for an effective price of ₹34,999: Here’s how

OnePlus has finally launched its new affordable flagship OnePlus 10R 5G smartphone in India that starts at ₹38,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. For the price, you might think it to be a bit overpriced but because of OnePlus’s brand value, it is charging more.

Now, what if you can get a ₹4,000 discount on the base price? Certainly, this will be a better option for you then, all you have to do is head over to the OnePlus India site. While you still wait for the actual sale of the smartphone that is headed for May 4th, you can clearly see the offers available if you buy this smartphone.

First up, you have a straight ₹2,000 instant discount if you use an ICICI Bank Credit Card or Credit Card EMI or use with Debit Card EMI and then you have an extra ₹2,000 exchange bonus if you exchange any of your old smartphones. I tried to see how much value this gives to an old Realme 3 Pro, I saw near about Rs.4130, quite low than what Amazon or Flipkart are giving near about Rs.5000 for the exchange.

However, you do will get that extra ₹2,000 exchange bonus and that reduces the effective price of this new OnePlus 10R 5G further. Head over to the OnePlus India site: https://fas.st/jt_zLM

Specifications of OnePlus 10R

The OnePlus 10R features a 6.7″ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. The device has an adaptive refresh rate that can scale from 60Hz to 90Hz on its own. It has a touch response rate of 730Hz.

The highlight of the 10R is its battery, it arrives with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC charging, and the battery can go from 1 to 30% in just 3 minutes and 1% to 100% in just 17 minutes. Note that this is the one with SuperVOOC Endurance Edition.

The regular version arrives with 80W SuperVOOC charging and a 5,000mAh battery, it can charge from 1 to 100% in 32 minutes. Both the versions of the OnePlus 10R arrive with Custom smart charging chips that ensure safe charging. The usual issue is that super-fast battery chargers lead to quicker battery degeneration.

The OnePlus 10R, however, has a Smart Battery Health Algorithm along with Healing Technology that ensures the 150W SuperVOOC Endurance Edition retains nearly 80% of its capacity post 1,600 charges. This is double the industry standard of 800 cycles.

The 10R is powered by the Dimensity 8100 chip that has been paired with 8GB/12GB RAM options and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device has an integrated 3D Passive Cooling System that is the largest in a OnePlus device to date.

In the optics department, the OnePlus 10R features a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter. It runs on OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS. OnePlus has assured users of providing 3 major OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
