What’s New Over the instax mini 12

The instax mini 13 builds on everything that made the mini 12 a hit and adds one genuinely useful upgrade: dual self-timers. The 2-second timer is perfect for handheld selfies without shutter shake, while the 10-second timer lets you place the camera down and capture full-body shots or group photos with everyone in frame — no tripod needed thanks to the included Camera Angle Adjustment Accessory.

The beloved Close-up Mode returns with parallax correction for accurate framing at close range, and Automatic Exposure handles lighting conditions automatically — whether you’re shooting in bright sunlight or a dim room. The instax UP! app has also been updated with AI-powered scanning, making it easier to digitise and share prints on social media regardless of background colour or print orientation.

The pop-inspired rounded 3D design in five translucent pastel shades makes the mini 13 as much a fashion accessory as a camera — exactly the vibe Fujifilm is going for with its tagline “time for the unexpected.” Fujifilm is also releasing a new Jet Black colour for the instax WIDE 400 on the same date for those who prefer a more sophisticated look.
