Frozen 3 Release Date Confirmed: Anna and Kristoff’s Wedding Leads the Way

Arendelle is about to get a royal wedding — and, of course, a fresh dose of chaos. Disney has finally broken its silence on Frozen 3, and fans have a real date to circle on the calendar.

When Frozen 3 Releasing?

Frozen 3 arrives in theatres on November 24, 2027, keeping the franchise’s tradition of Thanksgiving releases alive. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad all return as Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf.

The Wedding Everyone’s Been Waiting For

The headline news out of Disney’s D23 event: Anna and Kristoff are finally getting married. Bell and Menzel confirmed the royal wedding storyline, hinting the celebration won’t go entirely smoothly — Anna and Elsa are reportedly gearing up for “their biggest journey yet.”

A New Threat and a New Romance

Details on the film’s antagonist remain under wraps, but the villain is expected to throw the wedding into disarray, pulling the sisters into another adventure. Meanwhile, Olaf gets his own subplot: a love interest named Samantha, adding a lighter, playful thread to the story.

The franchise traces back to the original Frozen (2013), inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen,” which went on to become one of the highest-grossing animated films ever made. Disney has also confirmed a fourth Frozen film is already in development.
