Four Hands, Two Sonatas: Guilt Turns to Rage as Song Kang Finally Snaps

Slow-burn tension in K-dramas always finds its breaking point, and Four Hands, Two Sonatas just delivered a big one. tvN’s piano-driven drama about friendship, rivalry, and betrayal has released stills teasing an explosive confrontation between leads Song Kang and Lee Jun Young — and it looks like the guilt Song Kang’s character has been carrying is finally boiling over.

Four Hands, Two Sonatas: The Story Behind the Storm

The series follows two students who meet at an arts high school and grow into professional pianists, their bond shaped by friendship, love, and rivalry along the way. At the center of the current arc: Kang Pio (Song Kang) has been quietly tormented after discovering his own mother was involved in the kidnapping of his friend Choi Jeong Yo (Lee Jun Young) nine years ago — a secret he’s been too afraid to expose.

Meanwhile, Choi Jeong Yo has been playing his own dangerous game, faking memory loss while secretly plotting revenge against the real mastermind behind his kidnapping. He even handpicked Kang Pio to premiere his new composition, only to tear the performance apart with harsh criticism — a move that’s left fans questioning his true motives.

What the New Stills Reveal?

The contrast is what makes this moment land — one man finally losing control, the other completely unbothered, which only deepens the mystery of what Choi Jeong Yo is really planning.

When to Watch?
