With Fortnite’s Star Wars season already underway, it may be hard to believe, but we’re nearing the finish line. Unlike previous Fortnite season transitions that typically happen overnight, this one will feature a live in-game finale. Because this mini-season lasts only five weeks, it is already drawing to a close, and players are already abuzz with theories about what comes next. Although Epic has not confirmed anything officially, leaks and speculation have some tantalizing clues.

Fortnite’s Star Wars Season Wraps June 7, Leaks Hint at Superhero Theme for Chapter 6 Season 3
First, there’s been some confusion as to whether the next update will be Chapter 6 Season 3, or Season 4. The fact that the game data calls the current Star Wars event Chapter 6 MS1 (Mini-Season 1) is a major hint that what’s coming next is Season 3. This may also indicate that there will be additional mini-seasons to come at some point.
The “Galactic Battle” between Star Wars wraps up on June 7, followed by the season finale on June 8. On June 7 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET, players will participate in a special event storming the Death Star and confronting Emperor Palpatine in what promises to be an epic showdown.
Looking ahead, leaks suggest the next season will be superhero-themed, possibly with a classic comic book flair. Rumors point to Midas running a superhero school and a DC Comics tie-in, potentially connected to the upcoming Superman movie. A new Superman skin, likely appearing in the item shop, is expected.
As for the battle pass, fans should anticipate several original Fortnite characters and a few collaborations, possibly including a corrupted version of Daigo and even Robin from Batman. Superpowers will likely play a big role, similar to previous mythic items. June 8 will also kick off Fortnite OG Season 4 and a new Lego Fortnite Pass, both possibly themed around superheroes. Fans have spotted hints suggesting The Visitor’s return, tying back to Fortnite’s earlier superhero arc from Chapter 1.
