Flipkart is one of the leading e-commerce platforms in India. Considering the popularity, few brands like Nothing have picked this platform as their exclusive partner in the country, and even a few brands have initiated new product lineups especially to launch via Flipkart. I’m sure some of you have visited Flipkart within the last couple of days and/or even today a few minutes back. In case you visited the desktop version of the Web App, have you noticed any change? If not, here I’m to spot it.
Flipkart Web App: Here are the changes
We all are much familiar with the usual Blue and White theme of Flipkart. But now the team has replaced the Blue bar with White, and obviously, there are many more changes. Instead of the Blue touch, the entire field is white now, and the product slider along with the trending products is arranged accordingly. Besides the search bar, the “Become a Seller”, “Profile” and Cart options got a new touch.
It seems the Flipkart team is still working in the backend to take feedback from the registered users and implement this new theme fully. Other than the Home Page, I have not seen the new UI implemented elsewhere. And in addition to the home page, they have changed the Browser tab representation too. Check the added screenshots to visualize the changes.

Despite so much goodwill, Flipkart’s few actions cause lots of criticism over the past few months. The list includes canceling orders just before the delivery date, increasing the price of some highly demanded products during the offer period, charging the additional secure packaging fee for the exact same packaging as earlier days, and the list goes on. Hope Flipkart has already taken all this criticism positively and started working internally.
