THOMSON Unleashes India’s First TV with Dual Subwoofers: Mini QD LED Series Exclusive on Flipkart

India’s home entertainment landscape just got a major upgrade. THOMSON, the iconic French consumer electronics brand, has launched its groundbreaking Mini QD LED TV series featuring India’s first television with 2 in-built subwoofers – exclusively on Flipkart from July 17, 2025.

Revolutionary Features That Set New Standards

The 65″ and 75″ Mini QD LED TVs aren’t just bigger screens – they’re complete entertainment ecosystems. Priced aggressively at ₹61,999 and ₹95,999 respectively, these TVs challenge premium segment norms with flagship features at accessible price points.

What makes these TVs truly special is the unprecedented audio setup: 6 speakers delivering 108W of power with sky-firing subwoofers that create an immersive soundscape. Combined with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus, this is theater-quality audio in your living room.

Technical Specifications That Impress

Strategic Market Positioning

This launch comes at a perfect time for India’s booming smart TV market. With India’s smart TV market expected to reach $37 billion by 2033 and smart TVs accounting for 93% of total TV shipments in 2024, THOMSON is well-positioned to capture significant market share.

SPPL, THOMSON’s exclusive licensee in India, has built a strong foundation since the brand’s 2018 re-entry. As one of India’s top-3 online TV brands, THOMSON combines French design heritage with Made-in-India manufacturing excellence.

Flipkart Partnership: Perfect Launch Platform

The exclusive Flipkart launch isn’t coincidental. With Flipkart commanding 80% of India’s online TV market and online sales accounting for 20% of total TV purchases, this partnership ensures maximum visibility for THOMSON’s premium offering.

For consumers exploring home theater setup guides or researching 4K TV buying decisions, the Mini QD LED series offers compelling value with features typically found in TVs costing twice as much.

Technology Innovation That Matters

The Mini QD display technology with 540 local dimming zones delivers the deep blacks and bright highlights that make HDR content truly shine. Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG ensures compatibility with premium streaming content across all major platforms.

Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the 120Hz refresh rate, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support – features that position these TVs as serious gaming display options.

Bottom Line: THOMSON’s Mini QD LED series democratizes premium TV technology, offering flagship features at mid-segment pricing while establishing new benchmarks for audio-visual excellence in India’s competitive smart TV market.
