Flipkart Now Offers Free Netflix Mobile: Here’s How to Claim It

Your Flipkart shopping habit just got a genuinely useful upside. Starting today, August 1, the platform is giving away a free Netflix Mobile subscription every month — and you don’t need to spend anything extra to unlock it.

How the Offer Works

Flipkart has partnered with Netflix to let Plus members claim a complimentary Netflix Mobile plan by completing four eligible orders worth at least ₹299 each within a calendar month, according to details on Flipkart’s official Plus x Netflix FAQ page. That’s a total spend of roughly ₹1,196 across the month — money most regular shoppers would spend anyway.

Orders placed through Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, and Flipkart Grocery all count toward the requirement, giving users flexibility across the platform’s full ecosystem rather than restricting it to one shopping app.

The Fine Print Worth Knowing

Orders only count once they’re successfully completed — meaning cancelled orders or ones still within their return window won’t qualify, as noted in Navbharat Live’s coverage of the launch. The Netflix Mobile plan itself activates directly within the Flipkart app, so there’s no separate Netflix login or manual redemption required.

If you miss the four-order threshold in any given month, there’s no penalty — you simply won’t unlock that month’s subscription, and eligibility resets fresh the following month. Flipkart has also cautioned that the benefit may roll out gradually, so it might not appear instantly for every Plus member on day one.

Is It Worth It?

If you’re already a regular Flipkart shopper and a Netflix subscriber, this is close to free money — assuming you’d hit that ₹1,196 spend anyway. Just don’t go out of your way to order things you don’t need purely to chase the subscription; the savings evaporate fast if you do.
