Honor will be launching the Honor 50 series in China on June 16. Ahead of their much-anticipated launch, the company shared a poster that reveals the unique rear design of the device. At the same time, a GeekBench listing of the device was leaked by a tipster.
Endorsed by Chinese actor and model Gong Jun, Honor released two posters one featuring the model showing off the device and another featuring the expected colorways it will release in. The Honor 50 series will be available in black, green, pink, and silver colors.
The poster reveals that the Honor 50 series will feature a 100MP camera along with a slightly curved screen and support for 100W fast charging!
The device was listed as RNA-AN00 on GeekBench. The listing reveals that it will run on Android 11 out of the box. The Honor 50 series is set to come with an 8GB RAM and a Qualcomm chipset that has a base frequency of 1.80GHz. It does not feature the name of the chipset featured but the tipster claims it to be the Snapdragon 778G SoC.
Early rumors indicate that the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 778G. The Honor 50 may come with a 50MP primary camera and support for 66W fast charging.
The Honor 50 series lineup will include a total of 4 devices, the Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, Honor 50 SE and Honor 50 Pro+. More details will emerge as we near the launch date of June 16.
