The Russo sisters are lacing up again — Finding Her Edge Season 2 has officially begun filming, bringing a bigger cast, higher stakes, and a whole new training ground for its figure-skating drama.

From Russo Rink to Voltage Academy
Season 1 followed Adriana Russo balancing family legacy and a complicated love life. Season 2 raises the stakes considerably — the Russo sisters leave their family rink behind for Voltage Academy, a far more competitive training environment where every performance could shape their shot at the National Team. Adriana’s romantic tension also deepens, as she navigates her relationship with boyfriend Freddie while old feelings resurface with former skating partner Brayden.
Showrunner Jeff Norton described the shift as a chance to keep building on the characters audiences fell for in Season 1, now placing them in new rivalries and relationships as they adjust to life after winning Worlds.
Who’s Coming Back
Nearly the entire principal cast returns, including Madelyn Keys as Adriana Russo, Cale Ambrozic as Brayden, and Olly Atkins as Freddie. Notably, Elvis Stojko — who plays Voltage Academy owner Kevin — has been promoted to series regular for Season 2, signaling an expanded role for his character going forward.
New Faces Joining the Ice
Season 2 introduces several new series regulars tied to Voltage Academy, including standout singles skater Andrej, rival ice dancers Freya and David, choreographer Lucy Grant, and Brayden’s ex-skating partner Zoie. A new coach, Mason Guilbart, also enters the picture, adding fresh dynamics to the competitive pressure cooker at the academy’s core.
Figure skating dramas draw heavily on the real discipline and rivalry embedded in competitive figure skating, which likely explains why the show leans so heavily into training intensity alongside its romantic subplots.
When Can Fans Expect It?
With filming wrapping in mid-December 2026, an early 2027 release is unlikely. Based on the gap between Season 1’s filming start and its eventual release, Season 2 is expected to premiere sometime between June and August 2027.
