Harlan Coben’s ‘I Will Find You’ Ends Netflix Top 10 Run; Sits At #5 English Series Of All Time

Harlan Coben has done it again. “I Will Find You,” Netflix’s gritty prison-break thriller starring Sam Worthington, has officially wrapped its 91-day tracking window — and the final tally locks it in as the fifth most-watched English-language series launch in Netflix history.

A Slow Burn That Turned Into a Juggernaut

The show, adapted from Coben’s 2023 bestseller, dropped on June 18, 2026, and didn’t just open big — it grew. Viewership jumped 42% in its second week alone, a rare feat for any Netflix original. Even ten weeks in, when most shows have long fallen off the charts, “I Will Find You” was still posting a soft weekly decline of just 7%, a sign of genuine word-of-mouth staying power rather than a one-week spike.

The story follows David Burroughs (Worthington), a father wrongfully imprisoned for his son’s murder, who breaks out of prison after his sister-in-law shows him a photo suggesting the boy might still be alive. Its tight five-and-a-half-hour runtime made it an ideal weekend binge — cliffhangers included.

I Will Find You: Overview

Where It Lands All-Time

With 120.8 million total views, “I Will Find You” now sits at #5 on Netflix’s all-time English series list — nudging out “Wednesday: Season 2” and trailing only “Wednesday: Season 1,” “Adolescence,” and the two “Stranger Things” seasons above it.

What’s Next for Coben on Netflix?

Buoyed by this success, Netflix is already deep into production on “Myron Bolitar,” its next Coben adaptation — this time based on his 12-book series, led by showrunner David E. Kelley. Given the extensive source material, Coben has hinted it could become his first Netflix series built for multiple seasons.

Prison-break narratives like this one tap into a storytelling tradition that stretches back decades, echoing real-world fascination with cases of wrongful conviction and the fight to overturn them.
