Bollywood’s power couple, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, recently found themselves at the center of speculation, Shabana Azmi, the calm and laid-back stepmother to Farhan, has calmed down the hot rumors by pouring cold water on them. She said that there was no evidence to suggest that it was true and that people would be better off if they lived their lives instead of worrying about hers.
The Rumor Mill Goes Wild
At a gym, Shibani was seen going out and everyone’s minds went off of course. She uploaded a post starting “Omg I’m 7 months pregnant! Carry on with virtual baby showers.” This news did not surprise anyone; however, it did surprise some who had already come up with the name of our future virtual baby showers. Yet, Shabana Azmi was like, no, this is not happening. She literally popped the bubble!

In the meantime, the boy is being fifty one and Fab! On the 5th of January, 2025, he was 51 years old. Farah Khan, his cousin (they share the same birthday, it’s kind of cool), and his sister gave him Instagram love. The hits keep coming from “Dil Chahta Hai” to “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” as Farhan has ruled over Bollywood just like nobody else has ever before!
Love in the Spotlight
Farhan and Shibani are the kind that we, in the hallways, try our best to set them up with cute couples. They married in February 2022 and are now into those lovey-dovey moments, ie romantic posts on Instagram and date nights that only they know where they go. And also, Farhan is an experienced dad of two from a former marriage so he will excel at this new task.

So, is there a baby on board or not? These days, Shabana Azmi seems to be quite strict about it – she says no is the only clear signal. However, no one can predict what is yet to come in Bollywood.
