What Did Vicky Kaushal Say?
During a media interaction in Delhi, Vicky Kaushal told IANS that he is looking forward to watching the film on the big screen, expressing that he loved the first part, is yet to watch the second, and described Aditya Dhar as a great filmmaker who got a great cast together — adding that he can’t wait to catch the film as soon as he returns to Mumbai. IMDb
There’s something genuinely sweet about a superstar — busy with shoots, press tours, and awards events — admitting he hasn’t been able to carve out time for the biggest film in theatres. It makes the rest of us feel seen. The Chhaava actor’s fondness for the first Dhurandhar makes his anticipation even more relatable.
Will Bhooth Bangla Feel the Heat?
Dhurandhar continues to attract audiences to cinemas with steady business, and fans have speculated about its impact on the upcoming Priyadarshan directorial Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, releasing on April 10, 2026. However, Akshay Kumar remained positive, noting that while Dhurandhar 2 is an adult action film, Bhooth Bangla is aimed at kids and families. IMDb
That’s a smart distinction — and a realistic one. The two films genuinely serve different audiences, so a peaceful coexistence at the box office is very much on the cards. Check out all upcoming Bollywood releases on TechnoSports.
Bhooth Bangla — Who’s in It?
Bhooth Bangla also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, and Wamiqa Gabbi alongside Akshay Kumar, and is directed by Priyadarshan. IMDb That’s a stellar ensemble — and a seasoned comedy-horror director at the helm. The family audience is primed and ready for something fun after weeks of intense action.
