Why Their Relationship Captured Public Attention

The Fame Factor: Elordi’s rise through The Kissing Booth trilogy and Euphoria coincided with Olivia Jade’s journey from college admissions scandal infamy to successful influencer comeback.

Family Dynamics: The relationship reached new heights when Jacob joined family trips with Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, suggesting serious commitment despite the on-off nature of their romance.

Privacy Approach: Unlike typical Hollywood couples, they never walked red carpets together or went “Instagram official,” making every public sighting newsworthy.

The Pattern of On-and-Off Romance

Sources close to the couple revealed that Elordi and Giannulli had been in an on-and-off relationship since the beginning, with their pattern of breaking up and reconciling becoming a defining characteristic of their four-year journey.

This cyclical relationship style isn’t uncommon among young Hollywood couples juggling demanding careers and intense public scrutiny. Their ability to find their way back to each other multiple times suggested a genuine connection that transcended typical celebrity dating patterns.

Career Implications and Future Projects

The breakup comes at a pivotal time for both stars’ careers. Elordi is preparing for Euphoria Season 3, which has faced numerous production delays, while Olivia Jade has successfully rebuilt her brand following the college admissions scandal that initially brought her unwanted attention.

Jacob’s Rising Star: With roles in Priscilla, Saltburn, and the upcoming The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Elordi has established himself as one of Hollywood’s most in-demand young actors.

Olivia’s Comeback: She’s transformed from scandal subject to successful lifestyle influencer, with millions of followers across social platforms and her own podcast ventures.

What Sources Are Saying

PEOPLE’s sources confirmed the split but haven’t revealed specific reasons for the final breakup. Given their history of reconciliations, some fans are wondering if this split might also be temporary.

However, industry observers note that the pair “never went so far as to walk a red carpet together,” suggesting the relationship may have reached its natural conclusion.

The Bottom Line

While relationships ending is never easy, both Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli appear to be in strong positions career-wise to move forward independently. Their four-year journey, marked by genuine affection despite its ups and downs, gave fans a rare glimpse into how young Hollywood navigates love under intense scrutiny.

For now, both stars seem focused on their respective projects and personal growth, proving that sometimes the most meaningful relationships are the ones that help us discover who we are, even when they don’t last forever.
