Episode 1: “You More Than the Scent of Spring”

Woo Davi plays Kim Na Eun, a singer-songwriter who develops stage fright after her beloved cat Haru dies. Hoping to hear her cat’s final message, she travels to a general store. Kang Ae Shim plays the store’s owner, who dreams of becoming a band vocalist, and Kim Hyun Jin plays a part-time employee at a camera shop.

It’s a gentle premise about grief and healing, and the cat-centered journey promises an emotional but warm tone.

Episode 2: “After the Play Ends”

Pyo Ye Jin plays Na Hye Mi, a passionate producer-director who has devoted herself to current affairs programming. After being reassigned to the children’s show “Binggu and Baenggu,” which is on the verge of cancellation, her perspective shifts through her interactions with the production staff. Lee Ki Taek plays a writer for the children’s program.

This one looks like a story about career change, humility, and finding unexpected meaning in a job you didn’t choose.

Why an Anthology Works?

Short standalone stories let a drama explore very different emotions without a long commitment. Viewers can sample one episode or follow all eight. For more on this format at KBS, see the KBS Drama Special Wikipedia page.
